She is 4 and has been in and out of the hospital for about 3 weeks, she has severe aplastic anemia. She was there on Thanksgiving and might be there for my ds's b-day and Christmas. (ds's b-day is the 22) She seems to be responding to treatments well so far.
My dh and I have been going back and forth spending nights with our dd at the hospital and home with our ds.
I am so sorry Suzy. Please accept my prayers that she gets better and comes home soon.
(((HUG)))
Can you tell us her name so we can pray for her by name?
She is in God's hands and Jesus is the healer of all. My prayers are added to all the others.
Thank for all the thoughts and Prayers, her name is Raelynn. Dh is by her this morning and so far today is the only time she fought taking some of the medicines she has to take, she has been very cooperative up until today.
Suzy~ So sorry to hear your daughter is ill. There isn't any feeling in the world worse than having a child sick in the hospital. I have been there. I will pray for your daughter. Keep us updated on her progress.
She is being uncooperative on taking the medicines, so she must be feeling better. She might get to come home Saturday or Monday depending on how her counts are and how she takes to the switch from iv antibiotics to oral ones.
Oh, I am so sorry. That sounds incredibly hard. Does she feel well enough and would the hospital allow you to decorate her room a bit and to have a small party for her? That might liven her spirits and let you all be together.
((((hugs)))) to you and I hope you all have a Merry Christmas in spite of everything you are going through!
Praying that they will let her c ome home.......that she tolerates the oral meds.
That would be wonderful - just to have her home
So sorry to hear that your little girl is so sick. I hope and pray she gets better soon and your family can be home together for Christmas.
