I can't find the thread were this came up, but somebody uses cotton candy flavoring. I got some LorAnn off e-bay, teeny-tiny little bottle, It's actually an oil, so probably wouldn't work in RI. I used half of the bottle for half-cup of TG, and can't detect cotton candy flavor in icing. It tastes good, but not cotton-candy-ish, and it has an 'extract' flavor, if you know what I mean. Anyone use cotton candy flavor, what kind and where did you get it? Thanks!!!

I use the Loranna, and I get it at a local cake supply store. I've used it in RI myself, and it works fine. I don't believe it's an oil, but rather an extract, because it doesn't effect my RI at all.

Yes, the Lorraine one is an extract. I ordered it myself and agee with you, Shiney, i don't taste anything close to that flavor. It must be very mild i guess. I still go back to using either lemon or butter extract.
