Making a Holiday Cookie Boquet for my boss' kids. Put Cookie Sticks into my NFSC that were cut 1/2" thick before baking. Cookies came out beautiful, but when stood cookies up via the stick, the sticks came out of the cookie either thru the front or back. Was so upset this happened.

What did I do wrong? Is my cookie not thick enough? Did I use the wrong stick? Do you add the stick after baking? Do I need to add RI around the stick to "Glue" it in?

Thanks for your help! Happy Holidays everyone!

Well, it could be that they are underbaked a bit. That would make them crumble off the stick. Sounds like they were plenty thick enough.

That being said, I started attaching the sticks to the bags, and then wrapping the cookie with the bag and tying it off with a ribbon. I'm sure someone else can chime in here . . . I got hte idea off of CC. Someone can probably give a better description than me. icon_biggrin.gif

thanks for the thread. I think I will be trying that method for my cookies. Thanks so much! Happy Holidays!
