Ladies,

I make 4 dozen NFSC covered in rolled buttercream with an edible image on each. Checked my orders today and realized I made them a week early. Has anyone ever frozen these type of cookies. If so, what was the result and how did you do it (i.e. layered with wax paper, etc.)

Thanks for your help.

have frozen the NFSC with royal and fondant (between wax paper layers) with great results, however I haven't ever done it with an edible image on them.

However, if they're individually wrapped they'll last a week no problem. I've had some that were around for 3 weeks and they still tasted the same!! Most of my cookie orders are huge anyhow and I usually give myself a whole week for them to dry and be bagged, etc. so there isn't a mad rush the night before they're due.
