I have one...It's not shortbread perse and you can probably roll it out to cut out because it is a soft dough...But it melts in your mouth like shortbread..I make them every year and add a cut piece of red and green cherry on top...

Melting Moments

Butter (Not Margarine) 1 cup softened 250 ml
Icing Sugar (Confectioners) 1/3 cup 75 ml
Vanilla 1 tsp 5 ml
All Purpose flour 1-1/2 cups 375 ml
Cornstarch 1/2 cup 125 ml

Mix together well.Knead to form a ball of dough.Pinch off small pieces of dough.Place on ungreased cookie sheet.If you prefer,roll into 1 inch balls.Press with a fork or glass.Bake at 325 F oven for 12 -15 minutes.Makes 5 dozen.

Enjoy....icon_smile.gif I make these every year!

Thank you Kiddiekakes!!

Just made your recipe - so, so delicious. Just like you said, melts in your mouth.

Have you tried using it in a cookie press? Anyway, thanks again.
