Help! Cake Just Starting To Buldge After Covered Long Time

Help. I have a cake that has been covered in fondant for over 24 hours. It's just now starting to buldge. Doesn't that usually happen in the first few hours? What should I do?

If it's the filling, not much you can do. If it's a bubble, pop it with a pin and smooth.
