I made MMF and I am trying to airbrush it silver. It looks terrible. The color is not even and it doesn't look silver, I can't even describe what color it looks like.

ANy suggestions on what to do? I can make more MMF in the morning if needed and recover the cake. But I still don't know how to get silver.

I need to deliver tomorrow evening so any help is really appreciated!

ETA: It just occurred to me that perhaps I should try to color the fondant grey then airbrush it. Should I just use a touch of black to get the grey color?

I don't think I've ever colored anything grey before

Silver will come up best on darker colours... I made a disco ball and tinted the fondant grey and then added silver sparkle over it. It looked ok but i think if i had tinted it a darker grey almost black it might have sparkled more.
