What a cute cupcakes! Try icing in royal so that the dummies last longer. While the icing is still wet, gently roll the edge in non perils and then top with the flower (made and dried ahead of time).

A few days late, but King Arthur Flour had a video on their blog showing the cupcake decorating with the sprinkles.

I used an alternative topping (carpenter's caulking) when I made my cupcake dummies, worked great, and looked very real
