An homage to Engine Co. No. 7 which was closed earlier this year in spite of neighborhood protests. It was the longest continually operating firehouse in the country until it's closing. 1871 - 2009
WOW it was open for that long and they closed it down??? How sad
I wish I could work Bake gingerbread, just to much trouble for me for things we not gonna eat.. lol.. Im just slow at it and have to cheat with the prebaked..
I do love your firestation.. And those trees? how did you do that is it fondant? took another look.. no way is that fondant.. lol. what is it? Did they come like that? Hope you don't mind me asking so many questions. lol..
those are candy cane trees! i have seen them in my local dollar store. just a regular candy cane twisted into a tree shape.

Thank you.. That was driving me crazy.. lol.. I am going to have to look for those trees to use around our preboxed gingerbread houses.
