Hi, I'm baking an 11x15 sheet cake to feed 30 people. I baked two separate layers and each came out a little under an inch in height. I added a filling and I only seem to have about 2" in height. Is this the standard to get 30 slices out of an 11x15?

Should I bake another inch layer?

Any help would be appreciated- I haven't done sheet cakes before!

Thanks!
