This is for my polar express cake. I would like to not just do a few tiers, but make it like a real mountain, w/ the train winding around it. Any suggestions? How would you stack & use cake boards?

Well start with a mole-hill...

Are you planning on doing a sheet type cake or round tiers? I really like the pic and idea above, but if you were to do a sheet cake you could make a more lengthy track. For a mountain on a sheet I would just add layers can hand carve it out.
