I'm new to this cake stuff....trying to figure out what you ladies are using to set your cake on top of. It doesn't appear most are using an actual cake board. Can anyone enlighten me on what you are setting your cake on for presentation (often with a ribbon around the side)?

Thanks!

1/2 inch foam core board or a cake drum

A cake drum, which is basically several cake boards glued together and covered in food safe decorative foil.
