Hi everyone. I've been wanting to do some stenciling on a fondant cake, primarily on the sides) but I'm not sure what to use. Should I use royal icing or color flow icing? What gives the better finish/effect?

Also, if I wanted to make my own stencils, what material should I use?

Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!

My understanding of color flow is that it is really loose and runny. That won't work on a stencil. I'd use RI.

Sorry I can't help on the making of stencils.
