Have a request for a birthday cake for a Lt. Col in the Special Forces (Green Beret). Needs to feed 20. Budget is $100. I can make the actual beret out of cake or RKT, but I think it needs something else. Anyone? Oh...and she wants it Monday, so not a lot of time to dry gumpaste, etc.

A green beret is very distinct and very special to the Special Forces. I would make the hat out of cake and the logo out of gumpaste. You should have enough time. She got a bargain price at a $100. Good luck!

I would also probably put the motto on the cakeboard going around the hat.
