O.k. I made my dd's b-day cake yesterday for her birthday party that will be this Saturday morning. I went ahead and covered it in fondant because I knew it would stay moist that long BUT I forgot that I had to cut some out for the water. I went ahead and added the piping gel in hopes that it would help and I THINK it will be fine but wanted to know if I need to do anything special to it at this point? I have left the two tiers out and are keeping them covered.

What kind of cake is going to be? I'm not sure how to help because I don't know what kind of cake it is!

Good luck!

It is just a pillsbury confetti box cake mix. I did 2, 10 inch and 2, 6 inch. Covered in buttercream then mmf but I had to cut out an area for water which I went ahead and filled with piping gel. Not sure I should have done that already but I knew I couldn't really wait to cut the fondant cuz it would get too hard. Oh well, we will see.
Thanks!
