Ok, so I'm opening my shop soon and can't seem to find a cash register/checkout counter for the cupcake shop! ugh! What can I use that won't cost a ton of money that will still give me the counter I need?

Are you looking to have items for display in the counter? does it need to be temp controled or glass front? If your just looking for counter space and office supply type storage, what about an waist high dresser. I'm sure you could find a really classy looking one at a used furniture store or antique shop. You'll be able to store order books, register tape, pens, etc in the drawers!

Thats an excellent idea! Thanks! I have a display case already, Im just looking for a place to sit the cash register and for the customers to be able to put their cupcake and drink purchases down on as they checkout. I hope that made sense! lol
