Who judged this contest? I just looked at the results and thought that two of the honorable mentions should have won first and second. I'm very confused by this.

All CC members had a chance to cast their votes. From what I understand, the votes are then tallied and the winners are determined that way. There were several days during which the votes were cast.

Yes that is basically the process. The results are the compilation of thousands of votes.

Not everyone is going to rank the cakes the same, but the results are the reflection of the overall opinion of the community.

How long do you need to wait after a contest before you upload more photos of the cake to show more detail, and change the description to better describe the work?
