I am planning to freeze some cookie dough and quick bread dough in the freezer. how can i make sure that my baking powder stay fresh in it.or is there any other levening they used in the commercial products to make it rise .thanks for taking time to read my post.
.
When I freeze my cookie dough, I just put saran wrap all over it and then put it in a ziplock bag. Then I put it in a tupperware container. And I always write the date on the ziplock bag. I only leave it in the freezer for a few weeks. I've never left it in for more than a month.
These are NFSC that I'm talking about. I have never had any trouble with spreading or anything. They just bake as usual.
Thanks for the reply

I have never tried to freeze quick bread dough. So I have no idea. Hopefully, someone else can help you out!
