Hi everyone! Does anyone have any experience with making and delivering cakes on behalf of those online cake chains? Was thinking of looking into it to bring in more business while I'm trying to grow mine. Just wondering if anyone would mind telling me their experiences if they have any. Thanks!!!

There was a post here the other day from someone who was working for one of those companies and was having a lot of trouble getting paid. The title of the thread was something about collections.

I would stay away from working with any of them. They tend to pay late or not pay at all. Too much of a headache for the limited amount of orders you will actually receive from them.

I did a couple of cakes for one of them a Loooong time ago, and it was more of a pain than anything else. Not worth it, IMO.

I've never heard of one of these, how does that work?

They owe me money right now for three or four cakes. RUN!

Once I get paid it will be the last time I fulfill an order from them.

I'm assuming the company has the name "America" in it, right?

Thanks everyone! Sounds like I'll be staying away from these people then, just a thought! It's too bad they operate this way, I wonder how they stay in business?
