Hey everyone,

Do you guys have a hard time coming up with ideas like me?? I feel so lame that I seem to be just about incapable of coming up with ideas without researching CC. Do any of you guys feel the same way or am I being to hard on myself?

Nah, I'm like that too. I use google most.

It's hard sometimes, but I find that bouncing ideas off of the forums works very well. Plus, my designs always seem to evolve as I put them together (I'm not one of those super-organized bakers who have sketched out exactly what they want their cakes to be when they start most of them time; yet another reason why I could never do this professionally! ). The more I know a person, the better I'm able to come up with ideas. Still, while I adapt other people's concepts happily, I don't like copying a cake (even one I love) if I can help it, even if it's my own. I'm not in business with cakes, so I have a small enough demand that I can spend as much time as my amateur design mind needs on each cake .

I always come here to get inspired...and I also google all the time
