I have a cake due Wednesday that I baked today. Is frozen or refrigerated better? The frige dries them out I think even wrapped. Any help would be great. THis cake is a pound cake and say 3 day at room temp but nothing further. It is 4 days I am looking at. Should I freeze it if I am just going to start icing tomarrow? I don't want it to dry out. I know this seems kind of dumb but I would appreciate advice.
To freeze for 1 day sems silly to me. Once it ois covered it will last longer correct?
I would probably freeze it for two days. But hey if you just want to do one day, I think it's better to freeze it then to let it sit out that many days. But that's just me.
THanks so much. I just wanted to make sure I am not crazy to do that. The frige scares me. It sucks the life out a cake. Just wanted to see what other people feel the same.
Just relalized I was not clear. The cake is going to be coverd with fondant. Once it is iced and covered will it be ok?
