ok so this isnt exactly cake related but i got a fab sweet making book for my bday and tried out a few today - these are absolutly amazing:-

Rose and Violet creams

White fondant - i made mine but you can just use leftovers
pink and purple food colouring
Rose water and violet syrup
plain chocolate
a little glucose

divide the fondant into 2 - half for each flavour and add a little glucose to loosen it up a bit
add the syrup and food coloring to each batch to taste
roll into little ovals and dip in plain chocolate
add a little pink or purple rose or flower to the top of each and allow to set

I just ate 6 in a row icon_smile.gif

Coconut Ice

one tin condensed milk 397g
340 icing sugar
340 desicated coconut

mix eveything together and divide in to two and press half into a brownie tin - colour the other half pink and press on top of the white half. put in the fridge and allow to set before cutting into squares.

Im plannning to offer these bagged in cello bags and tied with ribbon for wedding favours - super quick and totally yummy!
