Well I am so excited I just had to share..... We had Thanksgiving at our home this year for the first time. It was DH,DD,myself and our mothers. Not a big but still cooking for the moms who have way more experience at it than I did.
It was great DH asked me if I was going to stress out but I insisted that I was loving it, planned it out in advance so everything went off like clockwork. Even better DH and DD helped with the housework and had the place looking great I was so proud of both of them for being such a big help.
Dug out the China set the table with glass candlesticks it was great if i do say so myself
Dinner menu Chicken n dressing,ham, green beans, corn, candided sweet potatos, Giblett gravy, cranberry sauce, dumplings, crossants. DD made cheesecake for dessert.
Looking forward to next year mabey have a few more people up .

Job well done! I'm am totally sure the moms LOVED having you cook their dinner after having cooked tons of dinners for everyone else. Pat yourself on the back.
