Hi everyone!
my first stab at figurines went well this summer.. but it was for a pool cake so there was only one full body figure and she was laying on a raft..

Now....i was asked (last minute) to make a skating pond cake for my neighbors daughter in less than a week... and she wants "people" on it skating... i have no idea whatsoever on how to make 3d figurines that can actuall stand! i have tried several times this evening and they are falling over, falling apart...not standing...

i have searched the site here but just cannot seem to find what i need..

Soooo, i'm begging you all (once again) for help!

any direction you could give me would be very much appreciated!

many thanks in advance!
Marianne

try looking at aine2 tutorials on youtube.com she explains in detail how to make different figures, her recipe for glue etc. I use spagetti and gumpaste glue in my figures to keep them from falling apart. HTH
