So I made a really cute Big Bird cake for a 1st birthday yesterday and this morning bc is dry and hard? Anything I can do to soften it up? I was thinking of maybe steaming it a little as I do with my fondant cakes. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. PArty starts at 2!
I would leave it alone. Only the outside crust of the icing has hardened. The icing will still be soft under the crust.
