Being new to this I understand that it can be difficult to get a nice brown chocolate fondant? Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

I make MMF and after the marshmallows are melted but before I add powdered sugar, I add cocoa until I get the desired color. You will need to add less powdered sugar to compensate for the cocoa. I have a chocolate fondant cake in my gallery. And the plus side is though it was sweet it reminded me of tootsie roll.

If I'm making my own fondant, I use cocoa powder and then if that shade of brown isn't dark enough, I add Americolor's brown and sometimes black.

If I'm just coloring white fondant, I just add Americolor's brown and black.

I usually just buy the chocolate Satin Ice....it saves SO much time and hassle.

I make my semi-homemade white choc. fondant and add dk brown Pettinice and cocoa to that. Makes a nice rich color.
