I'm looking for a good sugar cookie recipe that doesn't rise much so that the shape I cut out of it stays really true to form instead of getting all puffy and distorted. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use the NFSC recipe here on CC (No Fail Sugar Cookie)

and it works great and haven't used anything else since.

If your cookies are puffing up or not keeping there shape try putting the cookies after they are cut out into the fridge for a few minutes before baking them...this tip I learned here on CC as well icon_smile.gif
