I haven't read all of the posts basically because there are sooo many. I just started this year and have 3 bridal shows ined up for my information and sample "dummy" cakes. In Wisconsin it's not legal to work out of my home so I had to allign myself with a local coffee shop willing to let me come in once in a while and do my thing. I think I'll be doing consultations either in the coffee shop or in the homes of perspective customers. We have a few well respected cake shops in the area. If anyone asks, they'll hear respectfull comments from me as well. But here is an example of my work. Here are a few samples for you to taste. Here I am presenting myself in a professional manner to you. I'm organized, and I can answer any question you may have. If you ultimately hire me, fine. I hope that you get the perfect cake for that one special day. I do wedding cakes... thats it. I don't have a storefront to attend to. I don't have distractions to deal with like 10 kids cakes a day to deal with. I don't do desert cakes for the restaurant down the street. All I do is "your" wedding cake. One wedding cake at a time. All of my attention goes into your special day! icon_biggrin.gif

The Last post on page 1 is from Chef_Stef: A long list of flavors "all scratch, most are recipes from either The Cake Book or the Cake Bible."
