OK, I've made a red velvet for my 3 year old's birthday. Need a good icing for decorating that goes well with red velvet. I usually used the cooked icing with nuts. I could make it without nuts but not sure how well it would do for decorating. Don't really want to use buttercream, may consider sour cream but not sure how well it will do for decorating. HELP!!!!
