Help! Does anyone know if Fondant will "squish" a angel food cake? A friend has asked me to make a lady bug cake (here on CC) but wants fondant on top, I am scared that the fondant might weigh down the angel food cake and every thing will collaspe, do I need to worry? Thanks.

yes, my understanding is that it wont support the weight of fondant. others may know different, if theres a modified recipe. but you might just have to tell her to try your regular, but fantastic cake.
