I just ran out of light corn syrup and I don't really want to go out to store. Is it okay to use dark instead? I was going to make salted caramels.

i think it will work fine, it will just look darker. you'll have to be carfull not to let it burn b/c you won't be able to go by the color, good luck!

It should be fine, but it will also have a deeper taste to it.
