I have a request for a "butter cream cake". Can't find one in CC recipes but did find one on yum yum dot com. Was hoping for some input on the taste of this cake. or
Here's one from Rose Levy Berenbaum, her recipes are usually very good. I've never tried this one, though.
Sounds like it's just a regular vanilla butter cake with heavy cream used in place of the milk. Not sure it would really taste all that much different. Texture might be a bit more dense.
