If you have coloured some fondant or sugar paste as we call it in the UK and used it for a cake, had some left over and wrapped that in cling film to keep it airtight, how long do you keep it to use on other cakes before throwing it away?
Do you keep it till the original sell by date?

Thanks

i wrap in clingilm, store in a box. generally as the use by date is so far away, it gets used before i even think about it (or dries out).
