Has anyone used either of these items from King Arthur with good results? The cake enhancer is "currently unavailable for purchase", but I am curious to know just how it improves a cake.
The fondant seems like it would have to be better than Wilton's, but how does it compare to Satin Ice or one of the other brands in flavor and price?

I think that both products are very new.

The fondant is way pricey--I never pay anywhere near $6.50/lb for Satin Ice or FondX, both excellent products and widely available.

As for the "cake enhancer", I'm not inclined to add over $1.00 per cake because I make varietys of WASC all of the time and the results are wonderful (recipe here on CC).

Good info to know! I found Satin Ice and will try it this weekend.
