Hi!

Ok, so I'm taking this class online. And I have to do a cake. I've figured out what I want to do for the design, and I've seen it plenty of times. But for the life of me, now that I'm looking for it, I can't find it. icon_cry.gif

I thought it was the quilted pattern, but everytime I look it up, it's not what I'm looking for. It's like the quilted pattern with the Xs and the beads in the middle, but the Xs aren't connected. I guess maybe it looks more like a pin cushion or something?

Can anyone help me? I could probably try to do it myself, but I'd like to have something to look at so I can get it right.

Can anyone direct me to a tutorial or have a picture I can look at?

Any help would be so much appreciated. icon_smile.gif

The above is a cake on CC - you could maybe PM the owner and ask how it's done? Sorry I cant help, I haven't attempted that effect yet but this cake pic is lovely. Good luck!

Thanks so much!

The design kind of looks like that. But a little different. It's more of spaced out Xs.

I'm sure I can figure it out by looking at a quilted cake, and change it up.

Thanks again for your help! icon_biggrin.gif
