I am doing a 3-D Abby Cadabby cake and want to get the hair "perfect". Does anyone have any advice on how to get the pigtails to look "wispy"? I am thinking about making them with clay gun and drying them upside down, then adding sections as others dry...
Anyone else have any suggestions...Please! The client wants cake completely edible.

Thanks in advance. icon_smile.gif

Maybe if you post a picture, that would help.
If I am correctly remembering what her hair looks like, then you could use the same tip you use for grass (if using BC). If you want to use fondant, then you could use the pasta attachment on your KA, if you have one. You could also just cut thin strips. Gumpaste is also an option - it's technically edible. Or use spaghetti...good luck! Please post finished product! icon_smile.gif

I'm attaching a pic of Abby...you can see how the hair is wispy...do you think the grass tip would work and what do I use to do it...BC, RI or other suggestions?
Thx for answering

I would try the grass tip in BC, but just use a stiff BC. Maybe there are other suggestions??
