How Long Will A Cake Last??

Once a cake is completely finished and covered in fondant blah blah blah.......how long will it be "good" for?

I've kept cakes at home before and ate on them for up to a week after they were decorated, which would make them about 10 days old from the time they were baked.
I would'nt suggest a 10 day old cake for a customer though, but me on the other hand will eat just about anything!

haha no no I wasn't planning on giving one that old to a customer........I'm like you.....I would eat it after 10 days too.....that's more why I was curious......for myself icon_razz.gif
