How Do I Color Gray Fondant?

Can you please tell me what colors to mix to make gray.. Trying to cover a rice crispy volcano??

I usually just mix a small amount of black with a lot of white.

Black. Until you get the shade you want.

Black, but I have had problems with doing this with some brands of color, where instead of gray you get a greenish hue (or once, purple). The Americolor Super Black seems to make a nice gray. That is what I used for the elephants on my Seussical and jungle animal baby shower cakes.
