I was picking my daughter up at after school care today, and they were coloring, and using "rubbing plates", creating cool textures to the paper by coloring over the plastic mat. They are just like fondant impression mats... but cheaper, and have a ton of textures, including animal prints, leaves, flowers... variety of sets available.
They are available at roylco.com, for only $7.99 a set. The texture set includes a brick, wood grain, etc, and has 8 different textures ( 2 on each 8x11 plate ) and the animal prints are 6 different prints.
Just thought I'd share a great find....
