I'm trying to get a burnt orange color. Right now it's more terracotta. Ok, but not exactly what I was looking for. I used Wilton orange, Wilton red-red, Americolor royal blue, Wilton golden yellow, and Wilton brown. Any suggestions?

For burnt orange, but I just mix orange and brown - perhaps a touch of black. I don't really know how to proceed from the combo you have there.

I used wilton orange with a touch of black for the pumpkin cake in my pics.

Terracotta sounds too reddish-brown, so I'd go with adding more orange and yellow to bring back the orange color.

Thanks, I'll try that. I looked up "rust" and "burnt orange" on the forums, and they said start with red-orange, then add brown or blue. Guess I went too far in the other direction!
