So anyone knows what "red tide" is? Those of you living near a coastline may have heard of it. Simple terms (no scientist here but living on an island I've seen it before) it's toxic algae that blooms, covers vast areas, stains the water red and drifts in towards shore. Soooo, WHY in the world am I telling you this you may be asking?
Well...my daughter has been given this topic to do her science project on this year...AND she wants to incorporate it into a CAKE!! Now this is going to be a CHALLENGE!! Lord help me...
Any ideas? icon_smile.gificon_smile.gif

Well, we had it here in WNY on Erie, and it left lots of dead fish and really unusal squid...while it is a very sad state fo affairs, it might get the point across.
