Hey guys, I just got an email from a friend in Michigan who told me about a little boy there...

There is a 5 year old boy names Noah Biorkman that is in his last stages of Neuroblastoma Cancer. And they are having his Christmas this coming up week (this Saturday) and he would like to receive Christmas cards. I am just trying to make this little boys wish come true. If anyone wants to send him a Christmas card here is the address to send it to.

Noah Biorkman

1141 Fountain View Circle

South Lyon,MI 48178.

Thank you to everyone that makes this little boy wish come true.

All 3 of my kids are decorating cards for him to be mailed out in the morning, I just thought with all the thousands of people here on CC this kids Christmas could be amazing!! If even half of us sent ONE card, can you imagine the bags and bags he'd be getting?? If you have the time I hope you'll consider it.

That is so heartbreaking. I just wrote out a card and put it in my mailbox. This poor boy will be so happy to open all of the cards he will get.

I agree, I mean it's such a small thing to ask for. I just really think it will do his heart good to have a TON of cards....not to mention how it will make his whole family feel knowing that complete strangers care!

If Heaven forbid this was happening to me or a family member, I would be forever grateful!

my kids had such a good time making cards last night, they also filled out a message on some premade store bought cards as well and included photos of themselves lol. They even called a couple of our nearby relatives and we've got 8 cards to send out this morning! Here I'll include a photo of one, my DD is turning into quite the artist lol
The bird pic is the front of the card, so of course she had to put some inside!! She was like "I hope Noah likes birds!"

Oh, I can't stand cancer!!! If we can help to make a day fun for him I am more than happy to do it. I told my son (4 1/2) about it and he is so touched about this, got very teary eyed and told me he will make him the nicest Christmas card. Still, I can't get over how sad this story is.

I think if you're asked what would you like more than anything for Christmas and your answer is CHRISTMAS CARDS, then by all means this kid deserves a million!!!!! Most 5 yr. old boys would say "a nintendo ds, a new bike, a video gaming unit (x box, ps3, etc)

Tells you what kind of a kid he is that he would only ask to receive Christmas cards!!!
Did anyone see the photo of him??? he's such a little doll!!! Could be any one of our children!!

We are each mailing separate cards out to him. He'll get 6 from our family. The kids are making homemade ones with drawings for him.
What a sweet little boy. I hope this Saturday is the best day he's ever had.

I'm also taking a note to post on the bulletin board at work and sending one to school with my daughter. Also sending one to work with DH. I was having such a bad day and wondering what else could go wrong. This makes all my problems seem so trivial. I really do want to cry now.

to hear something like this makes you realize how precious your own children are. we are sending cards from our house and sending bulletins to both my step-father's work and fiance's work. i hope all of the support will help his parents as well.

I sent out several cards from my family and some from my daughters school mates today. Also, I posted a bulletin at work. My work sent one HUGE card around too and everyone signed it. I sure hope it brightens his day.

I just saw this post last night and thought I would have my kids make a card for Noah. I was telling my son about him and he really wanted to help so we checked out the website (link tatorchip posted) to read more about him. He is such a cute little guy and this is so sad. I could hardly hold back tears as I read the story to my son. Now they are asking that everyone stop sending cards and gifts. They celebrated christmas on Nov. 8th and that they want to focus on their family right now.

Thanks, Tiffany29 for the update. I updated my facebook and myspace pages as well. I feel so sad for this family. I wish there was more we could do for the family. Having gone through this myself with my brother and my husband (my husband has been cancer-free though for 19 years) it puts a big strain on everyone involved both financially and physically. I will keep them in my thoughts.

They celebrated Christmas on the 8th and are asking everyone to please stop sending cards and gifts. He is very sick and they just want to concentrate on spending time with him - apparantly he can't open the cards anymore. Just thought I'd share.
