I was just wondering if anyone knows how to make a brownie birthday cake. icon_biggrin.gif

I make brownies quite alot, but have not idea where to start, when turning it into a bday cake!

what kind of icing would I use if I did use icing, same with filling?

hope someone can help me icon_biggrin.gif

thank you

Chocolate buttercream or ganache.

If you want it to look like a cake why not just bake the brownies in a round pan rather than the typical square or rectangle?

do they want the entire cake to be a brownie? or would they want a layer to be brownie? I would want a regular 3 layer cake with the middle layer to be the brownie...
but if not, how bout some caramel?

I cover brownies with a chocolate glaze, 1 layer.
If you make 2 layers it might collapse down into one large chunk, unless you make cake-like ones. We like them gooey.
