K, so I made a poker table cake for my husband. I decided to try it this time ( the first time) with buttercream fondant. For some reason, no matter what I used to keep it from sticking, it still stuck to everything, even the rolling pin. Why did this happen? It made it really hard to cover the cake because it kept tearing and I had to scrape the extra decorations off of the counter before putting them on the cake. This is the first time that I have used corn syrup in a recipe. Does it make it harder to work with. It came out ok in the end but it was such a pain in the butt to work with. Any ideas for why this happened???
