Hey Everyone,

Ok, I have a question and hopfully someone can answer this. I am making my brother a fire helmet for his birthday this weekend and I really really dont like carving. . I know I gotta get over it. . But I think I saw a couple post here say that acouple people have used the bowl of their Kithcen Aid Mixers for baking. Now I have the professional mixer. . So can I use that as a baking pan?? also I know that I would need a heating core to cook the center, I have the wiltons 3D Bear. . can I use that core for it?? Please help. .Thank You,

people seem to disagree with each other in this post about baking with Kitchenaid bowl:

what about using the wonder mold, sports bowl pan or any sort of round heat proof glass bowl that you may have, I can't imagine the KA bowl cooking all the way thru (mine is 6qt)

I was thinking about getting a Pyrx bowl. . but that means I would still need to carve it to match the rounds. . I have a heating core from wiltons. . couldnt I use that??
