So last night we had a big wind storm...and as I am driving home from work i just know that the power is going to be out when I am home. and I had to finish an Ed Hardy cake for my dad's birthday.

Sooo of course I get into my neighborhood and pitch black! no power icon_sad.gif plus it was already dark so no sunlight either icon_sad.gif

So i had the challenge of decorating a cake by candle light (soo romantic) lol. Luckily I had the majority of things done ..skull was made, cake was covered and airbrushed already, and my flame was done.

And despite the no light factor I do think that this was one of my better cakes icon_biggrin.gif

Wow! WOW! It's amazing!

You must have better eyesight than me, I am blind as a bat by candlelight. Our power goes out so frequently that I've had to buy a camping lantern.

Thanks icon_biggrin.gif Yes I had many candles set up. Luckly I had had some things done...lol and it wasnt easy! it look me like 2hours longer then I had expected because i had to go so slowly because i couldnt see it as well. But lol know that I look at it, i do think this is one of my best cakes i have done IMO .

Thanks so much for the compliments! I think I might have to get some camping lights as well because storm season is coming up and well i dont want to decorate in the dark again!

I actually received one for Christmas last year. Very handy, when someone hasn't snitched it.
Haven't used it for decorating, though.
