Does anyone have any tips for dipping pretzels in chocolate. I usually use a fork but it becomes very tricky to get the excess chocolate off and I feel like i waste alot of chocolate doing it this way. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use either a dipping fork or spoon specifically designed for candy making, or for twisted pretzels a chopstick works very well.

I made "Bones of the Dead" with straight mini pretzels and mini marshmallows stuck to each end. Then I dipped them in white coating with long tweezers. I placed them on waxed paper and it caused very little waste.

The way I do them may not be the right way but it works for me. I dip one side of the pretzel, allow it to dry then dip the other half. I do several at a time, chill in the fridge and repeat the process until they're done. Oh I also drizzle contrasting color chocolate to give it a finished look.
