Does anyone know how to tint your buttercream or royal icing silver??

For buttercream, I always tint it light gray then pearl spray (actually use the silver luster dust) for the silver effect. Same thing with royal...I paint dry silver pearl dust on royal. Not sure what your design is and if this is feasible or not.

The royal has to dry good before you mix the nusilver luster dust with vodka and paint away. It's a shiny and nice looking silver.
