I believe I've seen it on the Gourmet Flavors thread. I'll look when I get a chance - but I have to start work in a few minutes, so hopefully someone else will come along with it.

i just add peanut butter to my regular bc recipe for a sweet mousse like filling, or the one posted by amycake (that one firms up more like a peanut butter cup filling)

icon_biggrin.gif Some LOL I do it to taste, sorry. Now if you really want to take it to another level. After you have it where you want it add a lil chocolate. Makes your tummy feel good. icon_biggrin.gif

KHalsted, how do you keep a mousse type filling from oozing out from your cake layers? When I tried to use a filling like that I had a bulge that showed in my fondant.

i like this one...

1/4 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup peanut butter chips
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup brown sugar
heat all ingredients in sauce pan until chips are melted. then let cool. and add in 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1/2 cup powered sugar and mix. add more sugar to get the consistancy you want. got this from the recipe section here on cc.

really yummy!

I like to use SMBC and then add peanut butter until its just the right amount of delicious....(its a personal preference thing.) Makes a 'lighter' PB filling. Not as heavy as the stuff you'd find in a peanut butter cup.
