I have some cookie dough in the fridge that I made 6 days ago. Is it still okay to use? It's a Honey Jumble recipe. Thanks to anyone can help.
Did you put it in the fridge covered and straight away?
In this case I would say go for it - it has enough honey in it to conserve it and block anything bad growing.
It would even develop better taste - the old gingerbread bakers let mature their honey dough for months, sometimes even for years in cold temperatures.
Thank you Majka_ze! It actually has Golden Syrup in this recipe rather than honey but I assume it willl work on the same principle? I used half the batch for some cookies for a party but hadn't gotten back to the rest!
I think it works the same - high sugar count and better yet, not the simple, processed sugar as in PS. I would bake it.
